3DRacers, cars that can be 3D printed and controlled with your smartphone

A few days ago I was enjoying like a real dwarf playing scalextric that I recovered from the storage room. In fact, I still have it mounted in the middle of the living room, but I think that this afternoon I will disassemble it after seeing the cars that can be 3D printed and controlled with our smartphone, called 3DRacers. At the moment they are looking for financing, but I do not think it will take too long to get it and it is that many of us who have enjoyed years ago and still do, for example, the scalextric we would love to have.

These small remote-controlled cars are printed thanks to a 3D printer, but they can also be edited to suit each user. They will be controlled by a smartphone and all their electronics have been created thanks to a small Arduino.

In case all this seems little to you, the track can also be printed thanks to a 3D printer And so that you don't miss a single detail of your laps on the track, a lap counter and a record of the times are included that you can check at all times to know who is the fastest on the asphalt.

3DRacers

The Indiegogo price of this kit is $ 49 if you can print the necessary parts yourself to build cars, among other things, or $ 75 if you want to receive the pieces already printed. At the moment the collection already amounts to just over $ 16.000 and the goal set is $ 25.000, which we believe will arrive without problems since they still have 22 days.

If you want to see a little how these cars work that will end in a short time with the scalextric, you can play the video that heads this article. Of course, if you like cars, do not forget not to drool too much and to buy your cars to have them in your house as soon as they begin to be distributed.

What do you think of the 3DRacers? Have you decided to collaborate with the Indiegogo financing campaign?.
