7-Eleven, the company that has delivered the most drone parcels so far in the world

7-Eleven drone

7-Eleven is one of the large chain stores in the United States, as such it is logical to understand its interest in the world of package delivery undergoes a revolution through which a product can be brought to a customer in much less time. Due to this, many months ago they decided to create their own program where they develop autonomous drones capable of carrying out this work and, to this day, they have already managed to do nothing less than 77 drone deliveries in the city of Reno, Nevada which makes it the company that has made the most deliveries in the world so far with this technology.

As 7-Eleven itself has commented, this program has been developed in collaboration with Flirtey, a drone manufacturer company that supervised shipments at all times. Without a doubt, it is especially striking how, without great fanfare or publicity movements, 7-Eleven has become that company capable of making the almighty Google and Amazon blush that, for the moment, they are satisfied with having been able to send a couple of packages, in the best of cases.

7-Eleven has been listed as the first company to carry out a commercial delivery of products with drones.

As a detail, tell you that, at the moment, the shipments carried out have been made to addresses or locations that were a mile away from the store where the equipment was located. On the other hand, as they have commented, practically all orders are medicated although they also receive orders to bring food and drinks that are tickets within a period of approximately 10 minutes after placing the order.
