Amazon drones will have the ability to dodge arrows

Amazon

By now Amazon has already shown that its autonomous drones are perfectly capable of delivering any type of package to its customers. Unfortunately, and as we have already commented on more than one occasion, for the moment the regulations still prohibit the company from using this type of technology mainly due to the fact that there is no legislation that specifies how it should be used and when. Until this comes Amazon has nothing left but to continue developing its project.

Apparently and according to license that they have acquired, Amazon is very concerned about the possibility that their autonomous drones could be attacked and shot down using stones, arrows or any other type of object. With this in mind, its engineers and developers have set to work on new software with which to get a drone in flight to be able to detect one of these objects and perform a high speed evasion maneuver. After dodging the object, the drone itself will perform a landing maneuver and will automatically notify the authorities to arrest the aggressor.

Amazon patent

Amazon registers a patent showing a new security and evasion system for drones.

On the other hand, the patent also shows parts of software where, if someone tries to get the remote control of the drone, we talk at this point about possible hackers, it will land and deactivate automatically so that it can be collected by those responsible for Amazon. This will avoid losing control of a device that costs several thousand euros each.

Now, this is not the only characteristic for which Amazon's drones stand out, they are capable of creating a communication network capable of putting various devices in contact with each other and even satellites with the sole objective of automatically create a map of safe and unsafe areas, a record of possible incidents and even possible threats in order to avoid falling into unnecessary dangers again.
