fabtotum

fabtotum, a recently created Italian startup that stands out for its new and surprising ideas, is back and this time to present an update of its 3D multi-tool, a model known in the market under the name of FABtotum CORE where the possibility of having a 3D printer, CNC milling machine, scanner and laser engraver is included in the same machine.

This new version recently launched on the market by the guys from FABtotum comes as a generational replacement from the previous model, launched on the market about two years ago through a global financing campaign or crowdfunding where the company managed to raise almost $ 600.000. This model embodies all the solutions to certain mature problems that the previous version had.

FABtotum presents in society the second generation of its spectacular and surprising 3D multi-tool.

As stated Marco Rizzuto, current CEO of FABtotum:

The FABtotum CORE personal manufacture is the result of more than 2 years of development and improvements compared to the first product. It is a milestone and a pride for us. With CORE we are redefining the user experience and providing our clients with the best possible multi-tool for prototyping and manufacturing.

Among the new features that this new version presents, highlight improvements in terms of efficiency and speed thanks to the inclusion of new electronic components such as a Quad Core RPI computer, new heads, manufacturing surfaces and even a new much more powerful and specialized software. To improve the user experience, work has been done on the development of a new web interface that allows remote access through a local network or WiFi.
