Although we believe in a market like drones it may have reached a ceiling, the truth is that there are always companies that will show us that there is still a lot of work to doDespite the fact that sometimes the projects they work on may seem, at first glance, somewhat unnecessary for the bulk of the market, there is another sector, with much more economic power, that seeks to be the true spearhead in in terms of technology and capabilities such as the military industry.
Leaving all this topic aside a bit, today I want to present you a new project in which, apparently, they are already working in the Russian company Tactical Missiles Corporation, a project where they hope to be in a position, specifically by the 2020s, to have the first fully functional prototypes for field tests of a new generation of drones completely unknown to date and that could play with supersonic and even hypersonic speeds.
According to his own words Boris Obnosov, current CEO of the Tactical Missiles Corporation, who commented to several journalists during the celebration of the International Aerospace Show MAKS 2017:
During the 2020s, which is not so far away, there will be significant advances in hypersonic speeds for drones.
Undoubtedly a statement that matches perfectly with a certain comment made at this same event by Yuri Borisov, Russian Deputy Minister of Defense who, despite the fact that those present at that time did not know very well what he was referring to, at least until Boris Obnossov clarified the projects his company is working on today, wanted alert locals and strangers by commenting that the Russian Army plans to receive between 2020 and 2022 a series of new "means of air attack”Hypersonic.
