Torrequebradilla already boasts of being the first 3D printed town

3D printing

If you thought that 3D printing was not going to be able to surprise you, I think you should rethink this and it is that with what you are going to read in this article I am afraid that you are going to be more than surprised. And is that in Spain you will find the first 3D printed town in the world, although perhaps what you are already imagining in your head has not been printed.

Torrequebradilla can boast of being the first printed town in the world, and that town has printed a replica of all its inhabitants, although it is only 12 centimeters high.

The process to become a peculiar town reduced to 12-centimeter figures, all printed thanks to a 3D printer It was not easy at all, since the town has a total of 372 inhabitants who had to go through a scanner one by one.

3D printing

Said scanner was the CloneScan3D which allows anyone to be scanned, then creating a three-dimensional model that can then be 3D printed. The scanning process takes approximately 15 seconds, to which must be added another 90 seconds, which is how long it takes to render. From here the weight of the person is entered and it is ready to print.

This process was developed in a single day and was much faster than subsequent 3D printing, although each neighbor of Torrequebradilla already has their own tiny self thanks to 3D printing that every day manages to leave many of us with their mouths open.
