Erle robotics

From Switzerland, specifically from the multinational Acutronic Robotics, a press release has just been launched announcing that, after a few months of negotiations, they have finally closed an agreement in which they acquire the Spanish company based in Vitoria, Erle robotics, specialized mainly in the development of intelligent software for unmanned vehicles.

As you may have read on more than one occasion, Erle Robotics is a company created in 2004 by the brothers Victor and David Mayoral. Since that moment, the company has been working to offer all kinds of solutions for drones and complex systems related to robotics, which has helped them to have a great impact both nationally and internationally.

Erle Robotics passes into the hands of Acutronic Robotics.

At this point we must mention one of its most interesting projects, as well as to be classified as the first non-American company to receive financing from DARPA, United States Defense Agency, for its development. In it, baptized with the name of Hardware Robot Operating System, H-ROS, a platform is offered that allows the user to make components and parts for drones.

Thanks to all this repercussion and as the leaders of Erle Robotics assure, at the time several offers were received from different multinationals that were interested in buying the Basque company. Finally its owners have opted for accept the offer from Acutronic Robotics since it provided them with sufficient resources to continue developing their project.

Regarding Acutronic Robotics, it should be noted that we are talking about a Swiss company specialized and focused on the development of components and solutions related to the world of robotics. Thanks to this agreement, Erle Robotics obtains resources to continue developing its H-ROS platform, that Acutronic is in charge of commercializing all Erle Robotics products and that a line of engineering services can be developed for government entities.
