Amazon Prime Air begins to take its first steps

Amazon Prime Air

By now we are sure that we all know how companies of the stature of Google, although this one today seems to have frozen their project, Amazon, DHL, Correos ... they are developing their own project to create a series of capable drones, in a completely autonomous way. , to deliver an order anywhere on the planet. Perhaps at this point one of the most advanced projects is the one being carried out under the name of Amazon Prime Air, which has already taken its first step in the United Kingdom.

This very particular milestone has been carried out by a resident of a small town located very close to the famous city of Cambridge. This user has literally been the first in the world to receive a package sent by an Amazon drone, a shipment that has been produced completely autonomously and for which this man has had to wait 13 minutes to receive a Amazon Fire TV or with a popcorn package.

Amazon Prime Air manages to deliver its first package completely autonomously to an English customer.

With this event we could talk about the beginning of a new era for the shipment of goods, a project that started about 3 years ago in a society where this type of delivery did not have high expectations due to legislation that strictly prohibited them. Now is the time to prepare for a new way of understanding home parcel delivery since, thanks to this and many other projects that are being carried out, we are about to experience a revolution in this segment.

Many are the obstacles that Amazon has had to solve in order to achieve what today is the first delivery of a package made by a drone in a completely autonomous way, among them, above all, those imposed by the FAA, the regulatory body that , despite 'chill out'considerably, it still imposes rather harsh measures on those responsible. This is precisely what has led many companies to finally paralyze their projects while, in the case of Amazon and many others, focus their final development in other countries such as the United Kingdom.
