The Asian manufacturer of 3D printers Tiertime, by posting on your twitter, has introduced an upgrade kit to add Wi-Fi and other features to your oldest 3D printer models. The UP Mini, UP Plus 2 and UP BOX printers are the models that will benefit from this improvement.
This company is recognized worldwide for the quality of its products and with this movement it will earn many extra points among loyal customers of the brand.
The Tiertime Wi-Fi Kit
Tiertime has recently presented the update of its most popular models, however it has not forgotten the rest of your clients, to whom it owes the success of its printers. And to upgrade its printers, it has introduced a upgrade kit with which swap your old printer's CPU with a new and updated version with new features developed.
Also to facilitate this change, Tiertime has prepared a practical Guide that explains step by step how to make the change. Basically the change is limited to just four simple steps involved in the process. UP users only need to remove the back cover of their printer using an M2.5 hex key, after which they can carefully slide out the old CPU and replace it with the new one. And finally, they must install the new UP Studio software on our computers to be able to connect correctly to the printers.
The two recently introduced printers by the manufacturer incorporate important improvements. For example, they come with a redesigned print head, optimized for smooth and fast operation and minimal possibility of jamming and include a new HEPA air filtration system to filter impurities that come off during printing. These printers already include the new features presented such as Wi-Fi connectivity or the use of a control app on smartphones.
