Betting on connectivity in the new Arduino Primo

Arduino Cousin

We are in luck since Arduino has just announced the launch of the new Arduino Cousin. Before continuing, let me tell you, due to the fact that the statement places a lot of emphasis on this, that we are talking about a completely new plate «motorized»By hardware Nordic nRF52 which means that literally for this new product it is directly committed to connectivity, something that will differentiate it from the rest of the products on the market.

As you are surely thinking, since your mind will have flown towards the great possibilities offered by a board like the Arduino Primo, it seems totally suitable for all kinds of projects that have to do with, for example, the Internet of Things and the connectivity that we can have installed in our home and especially for any type of training activity.

Unfortunately there is not much data on the Arduino Primo, at least until its official presentation that will take place during the celebration of the Maker Faire 2016. Even so, the guys from Nordic Semiconductor, Norwegian partner of Arduino for the creation of this controller, say that the new Arduino Primo will stand out for having support for Bluetooth LE (lowenergy), WiFi and even systems that seemed destined only for the world of smartphones and tablets such as technology NFC or the port of infrared.

For now we can only wait until this Saturday, is when Massimo banzi, one of the founders of Arduino Project, plans to hold his conference at Maker Faire 2016. While we wait for all the official information to arrive, I leave you with the video that you have a couple of paragraphs above this and where you can see a radio controlled car via Bluetooth.
