APWorks and Dassault Systems Partner to Bring Better Opportunities to the Aerospace Industry

AP Works

AP Works It is one of the most active companies in the market, it is not in vain that we speak of a company that is a subsidiary of none other than Airbus, hence there have been many important news lately where APWorks is the main player. This time we got together to talk about the collaboration agreement that this has reached with no less than Dassault Systems, one of the large European companies related to 3D printing.

According to what has transpired, apparently and thanks to this collaboration agreement, a way will be sought to develop new technologies capable of helping aviation and even the different defense departments in all countries of the world to find the best way to use 3D printing in series production.

APWorks and Dassault Systems seek to get 3D printing to the world of aviation as quickly as possible

In this way, Dassault Systems and APWorks will work together on the development of a new process capable of mastering all the parameters involved in additive manufacturing with the intention of improving management throughout the production chain. For this, both companies have agreed to work with 3DEXPERIENCE software, a solution exclusively dedicated to creating value throughout the company.

As stated Joachim zettler, current CEO of APWorks:

The 3DEXPERIENCE platform is an important first step for mass production as it makes it reproducible and scalable. 3D simulation can help predict and prevent the production of defective parts. The aviation industry is very focused on safety, and the introduction of new products usually takes a long time. With the virtual validation of the additive manufacturing process, we can consider the possibility of producing parts by 3D printing certified to be manufactured in series.
