Gino Tubaro, a young 20-year-old Argentine owner of the company Atomic Lab, has just announced that it will dedicate all its resources, for one day, to making free 3D printed hand prostheses for Uruguayan children. This very special event It will be held during the month of November of this year 2016Unfortunately, the day has not been confirmed at the moment.

This type of solidarity day which Gino Tubaro himself has baptized as'Manoton'It was already held just a few weeks ago, specifically in the month of July 2016. Throughout the day, in four shifts of two hours, five tables simultaneously, made up of volunteers, family members and the future prosthesis wearer, built this type of hands developed by Gino Tubaro himself as a form of promote the development of this type of innovation in health.

Given the tremendous success of the previous 'Manotón', Atomic Lab is already preparing another similar event to be held in November.

Tell you that the work goes much further than a marathon where Atomic Lab makes its machines available to those interested. I say this since the prostheses manufactured are totally personalized and tailored to each of the beneficiaries, which takes great work and dedication so that, when the day comes, it is only a matter of manufacturing the piece, assembling it and offering it to its corresponding user to let him start working with her.

At this point and before saying goodbye, I would like to tell you the case of Lourdes, one of the beneficiaries of the prosthetic hands created by Atomic Lab who was present at the previous event with her aunt Laura. Since Lourdes was born, Laura has not stopped for a single day in her search for a solution to her problem, unfortunately she was never able to raise the money to buy a crawling prosthesis or the nearly $ 40.000 it costs for one for Lourdes' 12 years currently and that no social work or prepaid covers. Thanks to Atomic Lab, now your niece can have her own personalized orthopedic hand.
