Before continuing, tell you that this particular robot has been developed by the Australian company Fastbrick robotics being the only incentive for Caterpillar to have decided to invest a large amount of money in it.
This new robot has been created with the aim of being able to manufacture a house in a matter of hours since, among its most interesting characteristics, it stands out that it can place hundreds of bricks thanks to a laser guidance system linked to the design of the home itself through a model 3D CAD.

At the moment Caterpillar has already invested 2 millones de euros so that this robot continues with its development phase and improvements while they have committed to reinvesting others 8 millones de euros if all the deadlines set in terms of development are met in the next 12 months.
