If you were attentive to the celebration of the ADDIT3D fair, surely you had the opportunity to know first-hand everything that the new offered Colido X3045, a 3D printer that was officially presented by the Hong Kong-based company and that, despite maintaining the characteristics of the company's entire range of 3D printers, now incorporates the possibility of use two filaments that are released by a single extruder.
According to company representatives, to get the Colido X3045 to use two filaments with a single extruder, the R & D & I engineers of the same they would have developed a new system capable of avoiding problems such as the necessary exact alignment in both the Y and Z axes, something that must be done if or if we change any of the two nozzles. Unfortunately this is a very difficult alignment to achieve and that can cause fatal errors in the manufacture of a part or dripping problems, something that occurs when we finish the extrusion through one of the nozzles and the residual filament that remains in the conduit continues overflowing.
As is logical, thanks to the system implemented in the new Colido X3045, it is possible, for example, to combine two materials, even making a progressive gradient of the color of the figure or combining materials with different physical qualities. Undoubtedly one of the characteristics that has raised the most interest among the public. As a detail, tell you that the new Colido X3045 has a manufacturing volume of 300 x 300 x 450 mm and will be launched on the market at a price of 2.700 euros for the single filament version and for 3.900 euros for the version capable of working with double filament.
