Unfortunately, getting a camera to record this type of content is something that seems to be available only for the wealthiest pockets.

For this project, a user of the well-known portal tinkernut has used only a panoramic lens for the iPhone, which means that the project has a total cost that does not exceed the U.S. dollar 75, a very reasonable price with which anyone can have their own 360º camera without having to spend a large amount of money, remember that for this type of camera there are many companies that offer solutions whose price is around the U.S. dollar 15.000 how can the GoPro Odyssey platform.

As you can see both in the images and in the videos in this post, the user responsible for the project has decided to use a Raspberry Pi 3 equipped with SimpleCV, a panoramic lens compatible with the iPhone 4 named Kogeto Dot that must be modified to be able to be attached to the platform and even a series of files to create, by means of 3D printing, the case for the whole set.

As you can see, the results obtained are quite discreet although the truth is that for $ 75 you can't ask for more from such a humble project. Of course, there are much better solutions such as adding a much higher quality sensor, a better camera, more powerful software ... with which to improve your videos, although the cost of the project will surely grow considerably.
