Control the light in your house from your smartphone with this simple tutorial

There are many drivers on the market, much easier to install and capable of saving great hours of development and programming that allow turn on, off and even control the amount of light in any room. It is also true that our interest goes much further since on many occasions it is something much more interesting to put on the overalls and achieve, by our own means, to make this happen from an app created by ourselves and run from our smartphone.

If you are interested in knowing how you can get any light in your house to be controlled from your smartphone, tell you what you will need quite specific material, you have a photo just below these lines, where there are elements such as an Arduino board and its Ethernet Shield W5100 expansion, network cable, electrical cable, Arduino connector, 2 LEDs, 2 10K resistors, a 75 W bulb and its connector , a connection plate, 9V battery with connector ...

Once we have all the necessary material, we connect our Ethernet card to the Arduino and check from our computer that the card receives a signal and especially that has IP address, something that we will need later. We install all the resistors on our breadboard as well as the LEDs, compile our code and run the software on our smartphone to perform the first test with LEDs. If this is satisfactory, as you can see in the video located just at the end of this post, it is time to do the same with a normal light bulb.
