CPWC, a technology that will allow you to print in 3D at a higher speed

CPWC

As you surely know, there are many different technologies to print any object in 3D. Due to this, it is highly advisable, especially before spending enough money on a 3D printer, to know what type of products you are going to manufacture since, depending on their characteristics, you may be interested in one type of printer or another. looking at the advantages and disadvantages of the printing technology you use.

Today I want to introduce you to a new technology developed in Ukraine that can make the new generation of DLP-type machines, the same in which photosensitive resin is solidified using a projector, to work much faster. We talk about the technology baptized with the name of CPWC.

Spry Build's CPWC technology increases the print speed of DLP machines up to 10mm / m

Going into a little more detail, tell you that CPWC technology, an acronym for Continuous Production with Waterfront Converting, has been developed by the company Spry Build And with it, the company hopes to surpass Carbon's CLIP technology, which due to its characteristics has managed to become the methodology most used by practically all manufacturers of 3D printers for professional use.

The idea behind the development of this new technology lies in get the resin to solidify just in a specific area of contact with the light source at certain points. Thanks to this, it is achieved that it does not stick to the tray when creating a kind of mesh or grid. The process concludes by letting the resin, still liquid, flow through the spaces of this mesh, something that will make the spaces fill.

Thanks to this simple way of working, we are faced with a technology that increases the working speed of any machine up to 10 millimeters per minute. If we put this in perspective, tell you that it is capable of doubling the speed of CLIP technology, which today stands at 5 millimeters per minute.
