Create a welcome music system with Raspberry Pi

Welcome musical system with Raspberry Pi

The IoT phenomenon is reaching the whole world and it is becoming easier to create smart devices for our home or for our lives. The device that we present today is curious and easy to make, that is why it has caught my attention. Many call it a musical welcome device or what could commonly be considered a smart alarm or a simple doorbell.

The idea is to use a Raspberry Pi to intelligently control the speakers and can output music based on the object detected by its detection system. The only difference that exists with respect to an alarm is that the detection system will be able to notify the mobile phone and even modify the melody depending on the object detected or simply on the time when this occurs.

Musical detection system is cheap to build All you need is a few speakers, a Raspberry Pi 3 or Pi Zero W board, a PIR sensor, a 16 Gb microsd card and several jumper cables to manipulate the board. United all this will give us a raspberry Pi system that connects to any bluetooth device and that also has a motion sensor.

The musical welcome system is equal to a smart alarm but cheaper

Now we just have to get the necessary software for all this to work properly. On the build guide We will get this software that in addition to making the Raspberry Pi work, connects the board with the bluetooth speakers, activates the motion sensor or PIR sensor and also adds a telegram bot that will notify us on the mobile or computer when the welcome music system is activated.

As you can see, all the components have been around for a long time and It only takes a few lines of code for it to work as we want, something simple and practical for those who are clueless or simply want to have a musical alarm system.
