Create a car simulator with an Arduino board

The projects created with Arduino do not cease to amaze and the latter follows in the wake. Apparently two students of the Dicocesan School of Navàs have used a plaque Arduino UNO for your end-of-year project. This Arduino board has a very specific purpose: serve as the engine for a racing simulator.

The idea of the creators, Jordi Rafart and Marc Tomàs is to create a device that connects to a toy chair. This chair rotates and moves like a racing car chair and its movements are transmitted to the plate. Arduino UNO which makes the appropriate changes to the screen image so in practice we have a realistic and economical racing simulator. In this case the simulator is cheaper than normal since the accessories can be obtained for very little money and the connection with the screen can be made through a USB cable and the plate Arduino UNO but you could also do some modification and use other types of boards such as Arduino Yún and connect remotely.

Game console accessories can work with this car simulator and Arduino board

Unfortunately the project is not released and we can't get hold of the code to recreate the project, but surely that in a short time we will have it, at least the video of its operation is available. The truth is that it is not the first project that cannot be shared because it is a final degree project or is part of the educational system. Unfortunately, the jurisdiction in this regard is like this and cannot be changed unless it means failure by the student. So in the meantime, while the project comes out, we can enjoy the video of the project and try to recreate it in our house, although that only if we are very gamers Do not you think?
