El CSIC, Spanish Higher Council for Scientific Research, has just announced that they have reached an agreement with Aether, a company based in the United States and the Queensland University of Technology, in Australia, through which it is intended to promote research in 3D bioprinting.
Specifically, what is expected is to help the development of the 3D bioprinter developed by the Aether company in order to achieve further fine-tune and enhance its impressive capabilities achieving, among all the entities of the agreement, to finally achieve a much more capable and interesting product.
The CSIC will be equipped with the most advanced 3D bioprinter in the world.
As the company comments, the idea of equipping the CSIC with 3D bioprinting equipment arose after the publication of the article titled as 3D bioprinting of functional human skin: production and in vivo analysis by the CSIC researcher Nieves Cube Mateo.
