On this occasion, we learned that DJI has just signed an agreement with DroneDeploy with which it intends to develop specific software for certain market sectors.

Going into a little more detail, since we all know DJI practically by now, comment that DroneDeploy is a company that is dedicated to the development of software for drones, specialized especially in thermal mapping and 3D mapping. Thanks to this, the union of both companies represents a step forward in terms of the capabilities and use of DJI drones for the infrastructure inspection, one of the industrial applications in which the use of drones is most demanded.

The agreement states that DJI will put its Inspire model on the market next to the camera ZenmuseXT. Thanks to this combination of hardware, very precise heat maps can be made. For its part, DroneDeploy will create a new tool With which any user will be able to carry out an exhaustive monitoring of the state of an area of ​​the terrain thanks to 3D mapping. By clicking on a specific area, the app will show the four most recent snapshots of that position.
