DJI and Flyability will work together to improve their anti-collision drone

Without any prior information or rumors about it, today we find that the famous Chinese firm DJI has just reached a collaboration agreement with its Swiss counterpart Flyability to integrate DJI's Lightbridge 2 technology into the anti-collision drones developed by Flyability.

Tell you that this technology allows you to include a high-performance image transmission system, a new ideal plus for a drone developed to work in very small spaces, a purpose for which it has had to be endowed, as you can see in the image at the top of this post, with a kind of complex framework through which it can be hit without damage.

Flyability's anti-collision drone debuts new, more stable image relay technology

According to the Flyability company's own website, this drone is especially suitable for use in power plant inspection tasks. A task that, on too many occasions, has to be carried out at an altitude that can exceed 100 meters in height, which can put the safety of the operators who must perform this type of task at risk.

Although the project is fully developed, the truth is that the agreement reached with DJI can further evolve its qualities since, one of the negative points of this drone lies precisely in the need to transmit images and videos when the system works. inside structures with metallic elements or of great thickness. DJI technology will make connections much more stable.

A real example of use is offered by the New York energy company Consolidated Edison, a company that uses these 500-gram ships, equipped with cameras and thermal systems to record high-quality videos that are transmitted live to operators and stored in complex databases for further study. Thanks to the characteristics of the drone, the company can inspect ten old boilers that supply energy to more than three million people.
