DJI Goggles RE, glasses for the world of competition

DJI Goggles RE

As expected, both for the article, for the moment they live this type of sports, for the latest leaks and because we are talking about the recognized as the world's largest manufacturer of drones, DJI just announced the launch of what they themselves have dubbed the most advanced version of their drone goggles, the RE Goggles.

As has been revealed through an official press release, apparently the new DJI Goggles RE have been designed and manufactured with a specific purpose in mind, that they were used in the world of drone racing. For this, nothing better than designing a model capable of working with video streaming at 1080p and 30 fps with latency less than 70 milliseconds, which can even be reduced to 50 milliseconds if the video resolution is lower.

DJI Goggles RE, glasses that you can not only use with DJI drones

Continuing with the official information, tell you that, apparently and as confirmed by DJI itself, the glasses in question can work with any drone. If what you are looking for, therefore, is to use them with a drone not manufactured by the Chinese company, you must purchase an external module called OcuSync Air Unit which in turn integrates a camera that can be mounted on any unit.

Such is the power of the system, that DJI does not hide when announcing that even this module could connect to a robot or any other type of vehicle that is controlled by remote control. Without a doubt we are facing a new article that, again, can cover a market sector much broader than the world of drones.

If you are interested in the new DJI glasses, just tell you that the price of them once they reach the market will be $599. Included in the package are the glasses, the OcuSync module, several antennas, and a holster.
