DMG MORI takes over at Realizer

dmg mori

dmg moriDespite not being a very famous company in Spain and even the old continent, the truth is that it is one of the largest and most reputable companies dedicated to the manufacture and sale of machinery and tools in general in all of Japan. Today is news since it has just been announced that they have bought 50,1% of the shares of performer, manufacturer of metal 3D printers.

As reported in a fairly elaborate press release, DMG MORI's acquisition of Realizer has been carried out via DMG MORI AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT, a subsidiary that the Japanese company has in Europe, specifically based in Germany.

DMG MORI takes control of the European Realizer.

With this union DMG MORI has managed to position itself as one of the first level suppliers in terms of metal additive manufacturing equipment, since its wide and extensive experience in the use and development of laser technologies must be added all the technology and patents developed by Realizer in terms of selective laser fusion.

As commented by himself Christian thönes, CEO of DMG MORI AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT:

This is the perfect complement to our high-tech equipment. Selective powder bed laser melting opens up entirely new areas of application for our customers.

Undoubtedly, we are facing a new example of how large-scale companies are becoming enormously interested in 3D printing in order to position themselves within a booming sector capable of making the market evolve and prosper.
