Before even starting, tell you that Drone hopper is a Spanish company that in recent years has been characterized by becoming a true specialist in the design and development of self-guided drones for the transport and directed sprinkler of liguids, a specialty that has led them to achieve the 'Aeronautical Innovation Award 2017'thanks to a project where they have managed to develop a drone capable of dealing with any fire.
As for the award given to the Drone Hopper company, tell you that this is awarded year after year by the Official College of Aeronautical Engineers of Spain so we speak of an institution with a lot of prestige and recognition in our country.
Drone Hopper shows the public his two interesting drone prototypes for firefighting and precision agriculture.
Regarding the characteristics that make this drone extremely interesting for firefighting tasks, it should be noted that each unit has a maximum capacity of 300 liters of water and dimensions of about 160 cm diameter by 50 cm high. As you can see in the image located at the top of this same post, it is committed to a very compact, stable and resistant design to possible failures that may occur when the drone is operating.
At the moment Drone Hopper has already manufactured two different prototypes of this drone, one more designed for extinguishing fires while the second option is a drone with the capacity to 80 liters of water, a lower capacity since it has been designed to be used in the precision agriculture of large crops. These two prototypes have already been tested in forests and crops.
