Many are the companies that seek their niche in the market by innovating in a very aggressive market where we are used to seeing how the big eat the little ones and the one who falls asleep pays very dearly. This time I want to introduce you to the project being carried out at Hardis Group, a company that today presents Eyesse, a drone capable of taking inventory of a warehouse.

As he has communicated to the company itself, Eyesse is currently in its testing phase, which does not prevent large companies such as FM Logistic from being interested in the operation of this peculiar drone, something that has served them to be one of the chosen to test its operation, tests that will be carried out from September and will last until the end of 2016.

Eyesse is a project very similar to InventAIRy, carried out at the Fraunhofer Institute.

Going into a little more detail, regarding the operation of Eyesse, as has been commented from Hardis Group, the drone works at all times controlled by an operator. Thanks to the sensors it has been equipped with, the drone has the ability to move autonomously within a warehouse while, thanks to its camera, it is able to identify and collect inventory data. The aim of the drone is to achieve above all increase safety as well as productivity while saving a lot of time.

Undoubtedly a more than interesting project that will surely be very well received by the large logistics companies. As a final detail, tell you that this is not the only project that works in this field since, for example, we can talk about the InventAIRy project, carried out in Germany by the Fraunhofer Institute.
