Promotion will create a map with the restricted flight zones for drones

Promotion

As you well know, the drone market is growing continuously worldwide, something that is gradually becoming a problem since many controllers who have the flight of their aircraft as a hobby do not know, just as They should, the regulations. On the other hand, it is also true that there are many companies that operate with this type of aircraft, so from the State Agency for Aviation Safety, TO THAT, dependent on the Ministry of Public Works, it has just been announced that they are working on the creation of an application where anyone can consult the airspace restrictions on a specific day.

This application basically consists of an interactive map that collects all the areas of the national airspace as well as the aerodromes where it is forbidden to fly this type of aircraft. As I mentioned a goodbye ago Javier Fenol, Head of Aeronautical Information at Enaire:

It will be ready by 2017 and the goal is for drone users to be able to check on this map if the place where they want to fly their drone is allowed or not, depending on whether it is restricted airspace.

TO THAT

Attending to the current legislation of our country, remind you that this prohibits the use of drones in the vicinity of airports, in a radius that varies between 8 and 15 kilometers depending on the size of the airport itself. At the same time, you cannot fly over urban areas and crowds of people. According to what has been communicated, apparently from Fomento they have decided to use the technology of ESRI, one of the world's leading providers of interactive maps.
