Librecon 2018 is the eighth edition of this important event on free technologies, and already has the program for this year that we will now explain. This year it will be held between November 20-22 in Bilbao, and from this blog we invite readers to come. For those who still do not know it, it would be a great opportunity to get involved in this world of open technologies with this international conference of reference in southern Europe.

You can now buy tickets to attend the event at Librecon's official website, with two different types of tickets. One of them is the Standard ticket with a slightly cheaper price, and which gives access to the conferences, coffees that will be set up for the attendees and free access to the Bilbao tram. Just by showing the accreditation to the tram staff, you can travel for free during those days to move around the city.

If you opt for the Premium ticket, in addition to what the standard ticket offers, you will also have access to the business spaces, a meal on the 21st and a concert of famous video game symphonies that will be performed by the Biscay Symphony Orchestra (BIOS) conducted by the Irish Eimear Noone. All that and much more agglomerate these days where you will breathe technology wherever you go.

As soon as to the program, you will have a total of 50 lectures distributed between business cases and workshops. Lectures from leading professionals in the sector will give talks from companies such as Mozilla, Hitachi, Orange, Serikat, BBVA, etc., with special mention to Julia Bernal from Red Hat or the vice president of CEBIT Marius Felzmann himself. Richard Stallman will also be there on the 22nd, with a space specially dedicated to cybersecurity with Luis Jiménez, deputy director general of the CCN-CERT and the head of security at Iberdrola Ángel Barrio.
