Galicia will organize the third largest Maker Faire in Europe

Maker Faire

At the end of 2015 the Compotela Mini Maker Faire, an event where they tried to bring all the new technologies to a public that perhaps did not yet have access to them. Perhaps the most interesting part of the fair was that it was literally a success as nothing less than 138 exhibitors that delighted more than 18.000 visitors. For this second celebration, as you can see in the title, they have eliminated the Mini format to become a much more powerful, strong and veteran event.

In the new Maker FaireGalicia, the organizers want to be able not only to offer a larger fair, something that would not make much sense if they are not able to bring together people capable of doing incredible things who are willing to share them with the public. On the other hand, they want to show the public the most innovative Galicia in terms of collaborative production and above all its desire to learn and evolve.

This year the Maker Faire Galicia definitively abandons its «Mini» format

As a detail, tell you, for example, that among the organizers we find names such as Enrique and Marcos Saavedra, Chus Prol and Matilde Rodríguez, four entities that put their respective experiences at the service of the fair in fields as different as collaborative culture to select the best content , "Design Thinking" and "DoltYourself". Thanks to this experience and according to its organizers, during the days October 1 and 2, 2016 the largest Maker Faire in Europe will be launched after those held in Rome and Paris.
