Google Partners with Raspberry Pi to Launch Virtual Assistant

Google VoiceKit and Raspberry Pi.

Many of us already have smart devices in our homes that control the rest of the devices in the home. A kind of Amazon Echo or Google Home but personalized. Others choose to buy the device from Amazon or Google. However now there is another possibility, a legal, optimized and free possibility.

Google se ha unido a Raspberry Pi en la creación de proyectos de Hardware Libre. Thus, they have created a home virtual assistant that we can build ourselves but that will have the technology of Google and Raspberry Pi.

This virtual assistant has been dubbed VoiceKit or at least like this it's called the web in which we will find all the information of the device. This device curiously can be purchased through the latest issue of The MagPi.

VoiceKit is the first free virtual assistant that has been created in conjunction between Google and Raspberry Pi

This magazine is created by the Raspberry Pi Foundation and in the last issue the construction kit for this virtual assistant is attached, which includes components such as a Pi Zero W board, speakers, etc… Also the user you will be able to use Google software to have a functional virtual assistant and without problems.

Por el momento, a través de la revista es el único método para conseguir este kit de asistente virtual. Pero esto es algo que ya pasó con la placa Pi Zero y meses después comenzamos a encontrarlo en las stores de Hardware Libre. Por otro lado Google ha confirmado que This virtual assistant kit will not be the only thing I launch in collaboration with Raspberry Pi. Their interest in the board is genuine and they will continue to launch official projects with Google software and Raspberry Pi hardware.

Lo cierto es que The MagPi es difícil de que llegue a los kioskos españoles pero también es cierto que al tener Hardware Libre y Software Libre, We can build this virtual assistant ourselves Without any problem, yes, we have to be a little handyman because we have to build the kit first.

I recommend joining raspberry with Lion 2. It encodes much better and is an impressive result in 3D prints
