The Cordoba company Singular Bread is the architect of the creation of a new 3D printer model capable of allowing any user to create fully custom bread spikes. As the company announces, at the moment this 3D printer is oriented to the sector of the 'catering'.

As they have commented from the company itself, this printer is not a completely new model but it had already been used until now in sectors related to research or technological development but all this technique had to be applied to obtain products that reach consumers directly, in this case reaching any bakery.

Singular Bread is the creator of the world's first 3D bread printer.

In the words of Idelfonso Hoyo, engineer behind the development of this project:

For 3D printing to reach the general public, it is necessary to take advantage of the main advantage it brings: the creation of exclusive products at a competitive price. In this line, the pico de pan is a product that has many advantages since it allows the creation of multiple recipes; it stays crunchy for months, and is liked by all ages. Even being such a large sector, the variety of formats is very limited.

As for the company itself, comment that Singular Bread is a startup located in the Cordovan town of Montoro. Its founder is the already begged Ildefonso Hoyo, an engineer with experience in sectors as diverse as aeronautics and renewable energies. During 2013 he carried out the design of what would later be his first patent, the world's first bread spike 3D printer.
