Thanks to these 3D technologies, the new Arrinera Hussarya has been developed

Hussarya Arrinera

If there is something that all the companies that today are dedicated to the manufacture of supercars have in common, without a doubt, we could say, without fear of being wrong, that practically all of them use state-of-the-art technologies such as 3D printing or 3D scanning. In the specific case of Hussarya ArrineraThese technologies are used for its design and subsequent manufacture.

As has been commented from the Polish company itself, despite the fact that designing and manufacturing a supercar involves a very slow and extremely expensive process, working with 3D printing and 3D scanning makes it significantly accelerate. For Arrinera Hussarya, it was decided to use reverse engineering, a technique that can be very interesting if you have experts in the aforementioned technologies.

Arrinera Hussarya is a great example of how 3D technologies can be used to speed up certain projects

Going into a little more detail, the company is not ashamed to indicate that a professional scanner has been used for these reverse engineering processes. SMART TECH 3D With which he has been able to obtain information in a very fast and complete way about the geometry of certain parts that make up a car.

Once the image of the part was obtained, it was exported to STL format, one of the most popular and which in turn is compatible with the vast majority of 3D printers and milling machines. Thanks to this it was possible to go to work in the creating a CAD model which could then be sent to a CNC machine.

As a final detail, tell you that precisely and thanks to this way of working, different pieces have been created by 3D printing such as the housings for the rear-view mirrors and air intakes at 1: 1 scale, a clear example of how not only they can recreate different pieces, but make prototypes in real size.
