Husarion wants to make building robots easier

Husarion and its CORE and CORE-ROS plates

El Hardware Libre It is increasingly popular. But just because it's popular doesn't mean that gadgets created with Hardware Libre increase. Robotics is a clear example of this since it is not easy to create a robot that works correctly and performs peculiar tasks or applications.

That is why the company Husarion has decided to facilitate such a process by means of two controller boards that will help to create robots in an easier way. Husarion has created these controller boards with the most popular SBC boards and major operating systems in the world of robotics in mind.

Husarion has created two different plate models. The first one is called CORE, it is a board that controls boards like Raspberry Pi 3 and is in charge of managing web applications and data transmission, creating a unique base for robot creators. Let's say that CORE works as a base or filter that simplifies the processes to be able to manage them remotely.

The second plate is called CORE-ROS. This plate is double, on the one hand it has a CORE plate and on the other it has a second plate in charge of processing everything. This plate not only works as a filter but also processes everything so that both the user and the robot can find simple and unique instructions.

Unfortunately these two plates cannot be found in a store. Husarion is currently looking for crowdfunding financing to launch these plates. Through this method, plates are priced at $ 89 and $ 99, a price that may drop if they really get the necessary financing.

Husarion boards are compatible with Ubuntu Core and with many free boards such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi or Asus Tinker Board, among others. So we are really facing something that will help us to create robots in an easier way without having to go to a completely exclusive option. In any case, we can always opt for traditional methods, more difficult to use for many.
