Including 3D printing within the digital plan proposed by the Government of Spain

digital plan

As it was revealed a few months ago, Begona Cristelo Blasto, current Secretary General for Industry and President of the School of Industrial Organization, has just announced a new program of aid to companies where it is intended to address the digitization of the same to be much more competitive worldwide. Within this presentation, the line of action that they will follow has been announced.

Going into a little more detail, it should be noted that this program will be endowed with no less than 70 million euros. Before continuing, tell you that, in order to know in detail everything that is intended to be offered, how to sign up for it and what is expected of all candidates, all this information will be made public through the State official newsletter.

The Government of Spain announces the new digital plan for all types of companies

As has been revealed, the true objective pursued by the Government of Spain with this new digital plan is to help companies in their migration from their current state to a digital state, thus favoring the modernization of the industrial fabric and its transformation towards a smart industry where use is made of new technologies as important today as web analytics, cloud computing, big data, cybersecurity, advanced robotics, internet of things, virtual reality and, of course, 3D printing.

At this point, I think it is convenient to mention that the Government of Spain today has two very similar programs in place. The first, aimed at drive the digital transformation of SMEs through individualized advice by specialized agents, with a budget of up to 5 million euros while, secondly, we find a program aimed at professional associations and associations.
