Industruino, an Arduino board for the Industry

Industruino

There are many projects that use Free Hardware to create their projects or simply modify to obtain a certain feature such as a low price or simply a new function. Industruino is one of those projects.

A free modification of the Arduino Project you are looking for bring the best of Arduino to the industrial world. Thus, among its modifications is the incorporation of an LCD display and several external screw connectors.

These additions will allow us to use Industruino directly for industrial applications, as a simple programmer or also as a basic component for an industrial application, something that we can do since Industruino supports any software created for Arduino.

Industruino offers time savings in exchange for a high price

The creators of Industruino are called Loic and Ainura, two Belgian product designers who are concerned about all the steps that have to be done since prototype until the final solution is reached, they decided to create something practical and useful like Industruino. Industruino can be used as a final solution but also to prototype as if it were an Arduino board, we decided what to do with it, but it is important that after taking it out of the box it can be used for a final application.

These characteristics mean that the price of this board is not as cheap as Arduino. Industruino plates have a price between 50 and 100 euros, depending on whether we want more or fewer components. This of course collides with the prices of Arduino Uno and other plates and will be able to make the user think if he wants to opt for industruino or waste a little time and buy a plate Arduino Uno to save costs. The decision is up to each one, but whatever we choose, it seems that Arduino is expanding more and more in the technological world and now also in other areas such as the industrial one.
