Install Ubuntu 17.04 on your Raspberry Pi 2 and 3 easily thanks to RaspEX

RaspEX

Undoubtedly the most used operating system when giving life to a Raspberry Pi is Linux, thanks to this and with the passage of time we have been able to know very specific and, sometimes, limited versions of many of the Linux versions , which have been especially designed and developed to work fluently on a Raspberry Pi.

Precisely and due to how limited a Raspberry Pi can be, especially if we want to dedicate it to certain tasks where great data processing is needed, this type of specific versions usually do not offer certain functionalities that are available in the full versions of the operating system. Today and thanks to RaspEX, I will show you how to use Ubuntu 17.04 completely on your little controller.

The latest RaspEX update will allow you to enjoy Ubuntu 17.04 on your Raspberry Pi

Before continuing, just tell you that RaspEX is an operating system developed with the sole idea in mind of allowing us to use Ubuntu on our Raspberry Pi. If you are a lover of this card, you will surely know that RaspEX is nothing new, what if it is new is that thanks to the latest update, released just a couple of days ago, you will be able to work with Ubuntu 17.04 compiled with a special Linux kernel known to the community as'4.9.41-exton-v7 +'.

As a final detail, just tell you, in case you want to try RaspEX on your Raspberry Pi, which like any other operating system, so ´s only download the latest version of it, something you can do from your own project website. Once we have the image of the operating system, we will only have to extract the resulting .img file, copy it to a microSD card and install it on the card.
