According to the Italian Volt guys, thanks to the use of additive manufacturing, the variety of vehicles that can be manufactured has been significantly expanded thanks, as in many cases, possibilities in terms of customization It is concerned since this new technology allows them to choose between different types of shapes, colors and even styles.

Italian Volt shows us its Lacama, a fully customizable electric motorcycle thanks to 3D printing.

Going into a little more detail, as we have been able to know, apparently the company's engineers use 3D printing first of all in pieces as different as the body of the engine, the swingarm of the motorcycles and even the chassis. On a mechanical level, we are talking about a motorcycle equipped with an engine capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km / h in just 4,5 seconds needing 40 minutes to fully charge it.

Far from the customization possibilities offered by a model like the one you see on the screen, we have to emphasize that the motorcycle that the Italian Volt guys propose us has been equipped with certain high-performance components such as a complete brake kit signed by the specialists of Brembo or a set of front and rear suspensions of Öhlins.
