Leon3D will bring 10 printers to schools in Castilla y León

Lion3D

If only a few days ago we talked about how the company lion3d won a contest called by the Xunta de Galicia to provide 240 3D printers to its secondary schools, now it is time to do the same with the one called by the Community of Castilla y León which, once again, has won Leon3D and for which undertakes, as stated in file B2016 / 010046, to supply 10 3D printers to launch a new pilot program in the BIT Centers dependent on the Junta de Castilla y León.

Although the contract is not as large as the one organized by the Xunta de Galicia, the truth is that it will surely be a new step for Leon3D to continue demonstrating the great capabilities that its technical department has today and especially the research manager. and development, which have managed to create the 3D printer Legio that so many good results is giving the company.

The Junta de Castilla y León acquires 10 Leon3D Legio printers for its BIT centers.

As has been published, apparently the Junta de Castilla y León, being one less contest, decided to send four invitations to different companies, among these invitations only three were answered. Leon3D finally turned out the winning bid thanks to submitting an offer that has finally resulted in a contract worth 9.350 euros taxes not included.

As you can see, it is not a contract in which the amounts are too striking or that manages to get the company to bill a lot of money per year, even so, those 10 printers are sure will be used by many children that they will begin to know how far this technology can go and thus revolutionize, to a certain extent, the world.
