A few weeks ago from the Xunta de Galica, a contest was launched by which all interested 3D printer manufacturers were asked to launch an offer. This would be studied carefully and the most interesting one will be approved in order to equip 240 schools of the autonomous community with a 3D printer. After all this waiting time we have been able to know that the winning proposal has been that of Lion3D.
Specifically, the educational centers attached to this proposal, apparently those that today teach the subject of Technology, Programming and Robotics to their students, will receive the model Leon3D Legio, a 3D printer that stands out for many features such as its versatile desktop, precision, speed and quality of finishes. On the other hand, it should be noted that we are facing one of the most flexible and technologically advanced models of the moment.
León3D will distribute 240 Legio 3D printers among secondary schools in Galicia.
If you do not remember very well what the Legio de León3D model can offer, just remind you that this 3D printer is equipped with heated aluminum base, high-strength tempered glass, multi-color and multi-faceted printing, assisted build leveling, free software updates from the manufacturer and even premium technical support so that all educational centers that receive one do not have any type of problem.
As a final detail, just tell you that each educational center that receives a 3D printer of this type, will also receive two rolls of PLA filament and a can of fixing spray for 3D printing.
