Tactical Robotics' drone-taxis successfully carry out their first real tests

Tactical Robotics

Great news comes from Israel since finally and after a long time working on the development and production of the Cormorant the company Tactical Robotics has managed to carry out its first field tests with resounding success. Although it may not seem like it, as you can see in the image on these lines, we are talking about a completely autonomous device capable, like a taxi, of moving people and luggage through the air.

As a detail, tell you that, although there have been several companies that have tried to develop what we could call a drone taxi, the truth is that these attempts have finally always come to nothing, at least until now, since with this demonstration it is clear that Tactical Robotics has just postulated itself as the first company that can patent and offer this type of service.

Tactical Robotics continues with the development of Cormorant, the first drone capable of transporting passengers and their luggage through the air.

Now, for the moment the truth is that Cormorant, that's how they have named this model in Tactical Robotics, is just a prototype so, as they say from the Israeli company itself, there are still many details to be perfectedEven more so if we take into account what it means to make a fully autonomous vehicle work perfectly. Despite this, the truth is that the success of these tests has created enormous expectations.

Finally, tell you that, although the tests have been classified as successful, the truth is that this prototype still has slight problems. This time the problems came in the landing phase where Cormorant made a small error that has a lot to do with the on-board computer which finally caused the ship to wobble slightly. Despite this incident, the rest of the tests were carried out without major inconveniences.
