On this occasion it has been the American company specialized in georeferencing and 3D mapping, Micro Aerial Projects LLC, which has developed the necessary technology for its drones to be capable of collect cadastral information. This project has been put to the test in the Philippines, achieving more than satisfactory results, thus ending a large part of the problems related to property rights that the country suffers.

Philippines Accelerates Property Title Editing Thanks to Micro Aerial Projects LLC's Drones

Going into a little more detail, we find that the real problem for Filipinos may be that 11 million people are waiting to obtain the documentation that proves the ownership of their lands. Thanks to projects like the one presented by Micro Aerial Projects LLC, the process of obtaining property rights can be greatly accelerated since their drones can create high-resolution maps of any terrain in just 24 hours.

Regarding technical characteristics, we are talking about a series and quadcopters that are in charge of flying over any terrain. Thanks to their 3D mapping software they can create real-time maps of the place they are flying over that even present the coordinates thanks to the fact that the devices have been equipped with the system v-map, a peripheral whose weight is around 130 grams that is capable of establishing the GPS position of everything that the camera captures.
