M Prime One, a 3D printer with a Spanish flavor

M Prime One

M-Prime, a recently created Spanish startup, has just announced that, after many months of hard work, they finally have their 3D printer ready M Prime One, a model that, in order to be the first model of the company to reach the market, will have a special price in its first edition of only $299.

Going into a little more detail, tell you that the M Primer One is a 3D printer of type FFF or what is the same, manufactured by fused filament. It will be sold in kit form and is initially intended to be used by makers and all kinds of hobbyists of technological DIY. A point in its favor, especially when it comes to being ridden, is that anyone with a minimum of patience and desire will be able to ride it due to its low number of pieces since all cables have a connector so we will not need to use, as in other options, a soldering iron.

M Prime One, a 3D FFF printer that you must assemble yourself.

In terms of functionality and manufacturing volume, it should be noted that the M Primer One has been equipped, for example, with automatic compensation for unevenness of the base thanks to a sensor that detects how far the base of the extruder tip is. As for the extruder itself, we are talking about a PTSone equipped with E3D Lite6, enough to be able to work on a build volume of 200 x 150 x 150 mm.

A rather curious fact that I personally like a lot is that the M Primer One has been created by a whole community of developers who have participated in the project selflessly, thanks to this the 3D printer is'open source' which means that anyone can use the project to, for example, improve it or adapt it to their needs. Even the designs are made with software 'open source'and free. You can find the designs in this repository of GitHub.
