Make your own weather station in a simple and very economical way

Weather Station

We are in a time where we usually have a little more free time, either because we are on vacation or due to the simple fact that the afternoons seem to be longer, be that as it may, a time where we have more predisposition to deal with all kinds of projects. With this in mind, today I want to introduce you to a simple way to create your own weather station.

Going into a little more detail, what I want to show you is a simple tutorial with which you can create your own weather station that is powered electrically through some solar and what can you make with very little money since all the files and data necessary for its manufacture are available on the internet.

Build your own weather station thanks to this simple tutorial.

As for architecture, tell you that inside we find a Wemo D1 Mini Pro, a device unknown to many but that, as a detail, tell you that for about four euros it offers us the possibility of having a small card equipped with 11 analog and digital inputs / outputs, WiFi connectivity and that it is programmed as if it were an Arduino which has served to be classified as one of the most attractive drivers for the community when creating devices for the Internet of Things.

Undoubtedly, the appearance of this weather station is more than interesting and of quality, something that you will surely like since all the steps to follow for its construction and files necessary for its programming and manufacture are available on the page Instructables.

As a final detail, tell you that this station is capable of measuring different parameters such as temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure and even altitude thanks to a BMP 280 sensor. In case we want to measure more parameters, we only have to add new sensors and develop the necessary code for its correct operation, although, as a basis, this project serves us wonderfully.
