Incase is one of the most recognizable companies in the mobile accessories development and manufacturing market. Due to this and their need to continue improving both their designs and the quality of their products in general, they have just announced that they have reached a collaboration agreement with Carbon3D, in turn one of the most reputable companies in the 3D printing market.
In the collaboration agreement, as specified, it is clarified that Carbon3D has agreed to give Incase access to 20 Carbon M3 2D printers equipped with the latest software developed by the company and exclusive right for the co-production of products using the latest technology Digital Light Synthesis developed and patented by Carbon.
Incase will start manufacturing mobile phone cases for 3D printing thanks to the agreement reached with Carbon3D
As he commented Andy Fathollahi, current CEO of Incase:
Incase has been able to create the industry's first 3D fabricated protective mobile solutions designed with complex structures with new elastomers at scale.
In addition to redefining device protection on a material level, our partnership with Carbon significantly changes the mobility space operationally. Delivering benefits such as faster go-to-market strategies, simplified supply chain ordering, reduced tooling and prototype stages; and customization opportunities for our clients.
We are unlocking a new era in design and manufacturing, enabling designers and engineers to create previously impossible products and re-open new business models. We are excited to partner with Incase, fundamentally changing the way device protection is designed, manufactured, and delivered.
