Nexeo Solutions presents two new filaments for 3D printers

Nexeo Solutions filaments

Nexeo Solutions, a company based in Barcelona, is back and, this time, with news that will surely appeal to all users who own a FFF type 3D printer (Manufacture by Cast Filament) since they have just announced that they have two new filaments ready for sale for this type of printer.

First of all we have a new version of Novamid that comes to complement the ID 1070. According to the statement, this new material has been baptized as Novamid ID 1030, a filament comprising PA6 and PA66 homopolymeric polyamides and PA6 / 66 copolymers. In this version, the material has been based on the PA666 copolymer, which allows this filament to offer a much easier printing while maintaining the benefits of Novamid. Thanks to its low melting point, this material can be used in most 3D printers, even those in the home environment.

Nexeo Solutions announces the creation of two new types of filaments that are already on sale.

Secondly, they tell us about Arnitel ID 3040, a filament created from PET, a thermoplastic widely used in industry that allows the creation of precision components for industries such as those related to the automotive world or consumer goods. Among its most interesting properties, it should be noted that it is capable of resisting temperatures of up to 250 degrees Celsius without deforming and is aimed at all users looking for a resistant material, with low shrinkage and high dimensional stability.

Based on the statements made by Hector More, Managing Director of 3D Printing at Nexeo Solutions:

Nexeo Solutions offers technical assistance to our undecided clients on what type of filament they should use in their projects. High temperature, consistency in diameter and color are very important characteristics in high performance 3D printing and not all filaments are the same in these characteristics.
