PassivDom is capable of manufacturing a printed house in just 8 hours

PassivDom

PassivDom is a new company based in Ukraine that has just made headlines at European level to be demonstrated during the celebration of the Apis Cor, an event held a few weeks ago in Russia, which had the necessary technology to achieve print a house in just 8 hours. At the moment the idea is for the company to start working in Ukraine and the United States at the end of the year.

Going into a little more detail, the most interesting thing about this project is that a house can be manufactured in just 8 hours making use of 3D printing technologies although, as they themselves indicate, this time grows up to 24 hours per house as windows, door, plumbing and electrical must be installed manually.

PassivDom shows us their attractive $ 32.000 manufactured homes.

On the other hand and no less interesting, these new structures have been declared as autonomous since they have been equipped with the necessary technology to be capable of generating energy and water by themselves thanks, among other things, to the installation of solar on your roof or a water recovery system of the environment.

Regarding the technology necessary to manufacture these houses, tell you that PassivDom has developed a seven axis robot which is responsible for manufacturing the floor, walls or ceiling with a thickness of 20 cm. Among the materials used for this construction highlight the use of resin, basalt fibers, polyurethane, fiberglass and even carbon fiber.

Indoor PassivDom

As commented by himself Max gerbut, founder and CEO of PassivDom:

PassivDom is the first mobile and transportable house in the world due to the use of advanced materials and unique developments by our engineers, PassivDom has the highest thermal performance of residential buildings. The walls can also keep you warm like bricks. The thermal characteristics are high enough to use 20 times less energy than a traditional building. This is why it is possible to achieve complete autonomy off the grid in a cold climate, without the need for a technical and expensive heating system.
