Perpetuum, a calendar for life made by 3D printing

yonoh calendar

The design studio yonoh, based in the city of Valencia (Spain) is the creator of the calendar that you can see in the image located just above these lines and baptized with the name of perpetual. Among its most interesting features to highlight, for example, that it is a calendar that works for any year or that it has been manufactured by 3D printing by the company other, based in New York.

According to the press release published by those responsible for its design, it seems that Perpetuum is inspired by industrial architecture, especially in certain details of this, such as the sawtooth-shaped roofs of the factories built in the 20s and 30s. Regarding the materials used to manufacture them, it should be noted that plastic has been used to the entire structure while certain parts have been manufactured in 14 Carat Gold.

Yonoh is the design firm behind Perpetumm.

As you can see in the image gallery, basically what we have before us is a small stepped rule where the months of the year and the days of the month are displayed in a linear fashion. This type of calendar is designed so that, at the end of each day, let's move each of the dials manually so that with just a glance, we can keep track of the date.

As for the otherTell you that we are dealing with a firm whose objectives are to create the first high-quality everyday consumer objects in terms of design. Thanks to the use of the most innovative technologies of the moment, such as 3D printing, it is expected that these design utensils, without pretending to replace current artisans, can reach the market at a much lower price, thus achieving a much more range. broad consumers are interested in them.
