From Petronor a collaboration agreement has been reached with the Spanish company based in Vizcaya Addimen of Derio To jointly carry out a project in which they seek to design and above all find a way to be able to manufacture parts for their oil rigs through 3D printing. Thanks to this, it is possible above all to improve the quality of some of them at the same time as the manufacturing and distribution times are shortened.

This project, as announced by both parties, is part of the program Bind 4.0 Start UP! Basque Industry 4.0, promoted by the Basque Government itself in its quest to attract innovative initiatives to the Basque Country. This information has been revealed by Petronor's own press department in reference to the question asked from various fields as to why this Basque company has been chosen.

Addimen de Derio will manufacture the parts for Petronor pumps in Vizcaya.
