RooBee One, an SLA printer that we can build ourselves

RooBeeOne

The truth is that being able to build a 3D printer is nothing new, something that many of you already know and have even tried yourself. However, in this case we are talking about a 3D printer with SLA printing that will improve the type of printing, allowing more detail and being able to create pieces that we cannot create with other printing methods such as typical 3D printers.

This 3D printer has been called RooBeeOne and is built with printed parts as well as electronics and totally free components, as well as the rest of the 3D printers on the market.

RooBeeOne has the same philosophy as the 3D printers of the RepRap project, that is, use Hardware Libre and components accessible to everyone. But also build and expand the models by printing specialized parts. Thus, thanks to the Thingiverse repository we can download the models of these parts, print them and be able to build our SLA printer.

RooBee One can be built from an old 3D printer or from recycled materials

Even, if we want, we can convert our 3D printer into a SLA 3D printerWe only need to get the necessary components, many of which will be the same as those used in our old 3D printer, but we must not forget that certain components such as the extruder will have to be changed.

RooBee One is not sold anywhere at the moment, but its developer has reported that they will try to sell this type of printer under the price of $ 599, a high price for current 3D printers but quite low if we talk about a 3D SLA printer.

If you are interested in building a similar 3D printer or you just want to modify the RooBee One model, in this link You will find the official repository with all the steps, materials, guides and even software necessary to be able to build our own RooBee One interesting, right?

Hello, what DLP projectors could be used for the project, apart from the Acer X113P?

Thanks in advance for the information.

    Greetings to everyone.
