Sinterit has sent us objects printed with its LISA printer and we show them in photos

Sinterit Lisa -Printed object

Previously on the blog we have already told you about Sinterit and its SLS technology printer. Alone 2 years after Sinterit was founded has obtained very good results and recently they made a statement announcing that have achieved an investment of 1 million euros by the German company FIT AG, specialized in rapid prototyping, 3D design and manufacturing.

However, today we bring you something very special. And we have contacted them to ask them to print us some specific objects to test the technical capabilities of your LISA printer. We have chosen 3 industry sectors in which we believe that your product can cause a revolution and we have sent them to print 3 specific objects from those sectors. Considering that your printer technology produces objects of any complexity without the need to add supports to the print We already anticipate that the results have been spectacular

3D printing applied to jewelry.

One of the most common processes for jewelry creation It is called microfusion (commonly known as the "lost wax" method). It consists of carrying out a mould in material refractory on a piece that we have designed. Later the part is melted or charred, staying with a metal filler mold that we want (gold, silver, brass ...). For this test we have sent you a slave type bracelet 7 cm in diameter and 4 cm high which could later be used to create such a mold.

3D printing applied to Dental medicine and Orthodontics

In the work environment of dentists and orthodontists it is common to perform a impression of patients' jaws in all phases and positions through which they will pass their patients' teeth before they have a photo smile. The good resolution and definition of the Lisa printer make it a perfect candidate for this environment. If we add the possibility to print the several layers of overlapping objects in a single print, Sinterit's product becomes a "must have" for all laboratories.

3D printing applied to the design and modeling of characters for video games and wargames

One of the sectors that has been using 3D design for the longest time is the world of videogames and wargames in which they are created fantastic characters with a myriad of exotic and unique details. 3D printing is used to obtain representation of the characters of the video games or to create the masters that will later be cloned for the mass production of figures for wargames. In this case, the object chosen is a 12-cm demon raised on a mound of stones and armed with a long and thin spear.

It is surprising to see the levels of detail that can be achieved with SLS printers, we hope you enjoy the photos as much as we have done it.

All the objects used have been obtained from Thingiverse, online object library for download where you can find authentic wonders.
